Overview

Live Sense is an SDK comprised of pre-trained machine learning (ML) models that use the front facing camera of an edge device, or back camera of a mobile device, to detect specific objects and behaviors. The SDK can help prevent hazardous situations that are caused by these objects. Real-time detection helps the driver to take action to avoid accidents.

Live Sense notifies drivers without advanced safety technology, or connectivity with real-time notifications when there is a potential hazard, risk of hazard, or when a change in the road network, such as a road closure or variation in the posted speed limit has been detected, so that drivers can react to mitigate collisions.

Data privacy is of fundamental importance to HERE and our customers. We practice data minimization and don’t collect data we don’t need. And we promote pseudonymity for data subjects wherever a service does not require personal information to function. We employ privacy by design in services we develop.
