Overview

Live Sense is an SDK comprised of various pre-trained ML models that use the front facing camera of an edge device or back camera of a mobile device to detect certain objects and behaviors. The SDK can help to prevent situations that are caused by these objects and hazardous to a driver.

Real-time insights of such detections help the driver to take the necessary actions.

Live Sense notifies drivers without advanced safety technology, or connectivity with real-time notifications when there is a potential hazard, risk of hazard, or when a change in the road network, such as a road closure or variation in the posted speed limit has been detected, so that drivers can react to mitigate collisions.

Data privacy is of fundamental importance to HERE and our customers. We practice data minimization and don’t collect data we don’t need. And we promote pseudonymity for data subjects wherever a service does not require personal information to function. We employ privacy by design in services we develop.
