Subscribe to HERE Lidar Data

HERE Lidar Data is a service that provides on-demand access to an archive of off-the-shelf terrestrial Lidar data from which customers can select their required coverage, via a simple online portal. The data is georeferenced and colored using HERE’s panoramic imagery to provide additional context, and delivered in the .las or .laz data formats. This extensive library of 3D Lidar point clouds is unique in the industry in coverage and accuracy. Unlike data from private surveying contractors, Lidar Data is global in scale, offered at a fraction of the cost and is delivered in days vs weeks or months.

HERE Lidar Data is available on the HERE Marketplace as a configurable product where you can select the area for which you need to obtain Lidar coverage. To subscribe to HERE Lidar Data, follow the steps below.

1. Select the product from the list. Click Buy to start product configuration.

2. Select the region for which you wish to obtain Lidar data by marking it on the map. You can draw a polygon on the map immediately or enter the city name or address to focus the map on the area you need.

   

   Alternatively, you can upload a file in the .shp or .kml format containing the custom area for which you wish to get Lidar data.

   Your selection appears as a highlighted polygon on the map.

3. Select the date range for which you wish to get data for the region you defined. Click Next to finish the selection.

4. Review your selection and the calculated subscription price. Use the Edit icon to update the configuration, if necessary. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Delivery settings to select the data delivery format.

   

5. Choose the format in which you wish the Lidar data to be delivered and enter your order name. Click Add to cart to proceed to checkout.
