Subscribe to HERE Map Layers

HERE Map Layers is a collection of HERE-owned data catalogs that publish map layers in the GeoJSON format. The layers allow for easy access to high-quality versioned and partitioned map data, with globally consistent specification as easy to use building blocks that can be combined with one another to serve multiple use cases.

HERE Map Layers are available on the HERE Marketplace as catalogs you can subscribe to. Depending on your project goals, you can select the coverage regions, the number of users, and the license type.

To subscribe to HERE Map Layers, follow the steps below.

  1. Select the product from the list. Click Buy to start product configuration.

  2. Select the region(s) where you need product coverage. You can choose regions at the following levels:

    • Continent
    • Country
    • Province/State/City

  3. Click Next to select the number of users and the access type. You can set the end-user access to View-only or leave it unrestricted.

    Note

    For self-serve customers, the number of users is limited to 5 and the selection of access type is disabled. If you need to purchase other license types, use the Contact us link to connect to the provider and discuss the terms.

  4. Click Get price to obtain pricing for the selected configuration. For details on getting the product price for self-serve customers, see Pricing for self-serve customers. For details on getting the product price for named customers, see Pricing for named customers.

Pricing for self-serve customers

For self-serve customer, immediate purchases are limited to lower pricing tiers due to the credit card transaction limits. If the selected configuration price belongs to higher pricing tiers (for example, the selection includes large geographic coverage), you will need to contact the provider to negotiate the price.

Immediate purchase

If your selected configuration is eligible for immediate purchase, the price is displayed and the Add to cart option is available.

Review the price and change the product configuration, if necessary, by clicking the Edit icon. To purchase the product, accept the Terms and Conditions and click Add to cart.

The product you selected is placed in the shopping cart and you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

Inquiry

If your selected configuration cannot be purchased immediately, the price is not displayed and the Add to cart option is disabled. To obtain the price, use the Contact us link to inquire about the price.

After your inquiry is processed, a HERE representative will contact you to discuss your requirements and propose the conditions that fit them best.

Pricing for named customers

If you are a representative of a named customer, you can subscribe to products with no limitations. The price is displayed immediately and the Add to cart option is available.

  1. Review the price and change the product configuration, if necessary, by clicking the Edit icon. To purchase the product, accept the Terms and Conditions and click Add to cart.

  2. Navigate to your shopping cart by clicking its icon showing the number of items you placed there. Review your purchase and use the Proceed to Quote Details link to send a price request to HERE.

    After the request is processed, a HERE representative will contact you to discuss the conditions of your purchase.
